After conquering some of the biggest festivals across the world, Flume is bringing his huge Palaces World Tour to Australia at the end of this year.
The iconic musician and producer will visit Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Hobart throughout November and December, as well as stopping for three shows at Spilt Milk Festival. It will be his first live dates in his home country since 2019.
Flume is bringing along an impressive roster of special guests for the tour. Caroline Polachek, one of modern pop’s most experimental figures, will play in Sydney and Melbourne; acclaimed by everyone from Elton John to Tyler, the Creator, Channel Tres will appear at most shows; fresh off releasing his seventh studio album Mahal, chillwave legend Toro y Moi will perform in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, as well as holding a DJ set in Perth.
In Adelaide and Hobart, long-time Flume collaborator Vera Blue will bring some Australian flavour to the supporting slot. Rising Australian singer-songwriter MAY-A, who joined Flume onstage at Coachella, will also make several special appearances.
Tickets for all shows go on sale on Thursday, May 26th (10am local time). Fans can sign up for early access to the Frontier Pre-sale, which begins on Wednesday, May 25th (10am local time).
The tour announcement comes as Flume – real name Harley Streten – prepares for the arrival of his third studio album Palace, set for release on Friday, May 20th via Future Classic (pre-order here). After living in the bustling Los Angeles for so long, the album marked a return to the nature of NSW’s Northern Rivers, the son of a horticulturist inspired by local wildlife.
Palace is the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Skin, which won Flume a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
