Sienna Spiro will perform at this year’s ARIA Awards.

The 21-year-old UK singer-songwriter’s debut album, Visitor, is in its 14th consecutive week in the top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart, after peaking at No. 3 in July.

She joins a list of international acts who have performed at the awards show, including Olivia Dean, Alicia Keys, Ava Max, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Kane Brown, Khalid, Lorde, One Direction, Robbie Williams, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Pixies.

Spiro has more than 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 2 billion total streams. She has had three singles on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously and six entries on the ARIA Singles Chart.

It will be her second visit to Australia, following a fan event at Newtown’s Pleasure Club in 2025. Her Visitor tour of Australia and New Zealand in January 2027 sold out within hours, with more than 30,000 tickets sold.

Ahead of her return, Spiro said: “So excited and honoured to be performing at the 2026 ARIA Awards. I love Australia and can’t wait to be back!”

This year Spiro won Best New Artist at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards and was shortlisted for the BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice. She was also named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and received two American Music Award nominations for Best Vocal Performance and Breakthrough Pop Artist.

Meanwhile, triple j presenter and DJ Latifa Tee will also be part of this year’s hosting team, alongside Network 10’s Georgie Tunny and Angela Bishop on the red carpet.

Winners will be announced across 29 categories at the 40th annual ceremony, held on Gadigal land.

This year’s nominees were recently revealed, with Genesis Owusu and Tame Impala leading the field on eight nominations apiece. Ecca Vandal follows with seven nominations, while Baker Boy, BOY SODA, G Flip, Miss Kaninna and Ninajirachi are each up for five awards. DMA’S, Dom Dolla and Troye Sivan have four nominations each.

The ceremony will stream live on Paramount+ from 5.00pm AEDT and air on 10 after Big Brother. Red carpet moments and performances will be broadcast on ARIA’s social channels from 1pm. The event is supported by Destination NSW. More performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.
