Ruel has announced a massive tour of Australia and New Zealand in support of his upcoming debut album, 4th Wall.
The Sydney singer-songwriter revealed last month that his long-awaited first album was finally on its way on Friday, March 3rd via RCA and Sony Music Australia (pre-save/pre-order here).
One month after its release, Ruel will embark on a tour around his home country in April, followed by two shows in Auckland and Wellington the following month (see full dates below).
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 10th at 9am local time. The pre-sale begins on Thursday, February 9th at 9am local time (sign up here). It will be Ruel’s first ever headline arena tour.
Of his debut album, Ruel says he’s excited for 4th Wall to finally be released after working on it for three years. “It took way longer than anticipated to get this record right,” he acknowledges.
“I spent the last 3 years writing it and wound up with over 100 songs. I rewrote half of them and re-recorded most of them, until they sounded exactly as I heard them in my head. It’s been the biggest journey making this record and I know I kept you waiting for it, but on March 3rd, it’ll be all yours. I’m so proud of it, thank you so, so much for sticking with me.”
