Parkway Drive have released the trailer and announced a theatrical release date for their feature documentary, Parkway Drive: Home.
The film will have its world premiere at the State Theatre in Sydney on Tuesday, November 10th, before opening in select Australian cinemas on Thursday, November 12th.
The film “follows the band’s meteoric rise from metal underdogs to a global behemoth, culminating in the group’s most ambitious live show to date,” that being their show at the Sydney Opera House last year. The show featured special guests and a full symphony orchestra in a black-tie setting.
Home also includes a world-first stunt in which frontman Winston McCall rappelled 65 metres from a helicopter onto the Opera House sails, landing on a platform 60 centimetres wide.
Parkway Drive: Home is directed by Allan Hardy (Viva The Underdogs) and Macario De Souza (Bra Boys). It is produced by Hype Republic and distributed by Mushroom Studios.
Tickets for the world premiere go on sale Wednesday, September 30th via Ticketmaster with limited spots available.
