As Australians continue to wonder when music festivals will be allowed to return to the live scene, Isol-Aid has returned for its latest event, dropping its eighth weekly lineup today.

Kicking off Saturday, May 9th, the latest edition of the Isol-Aid livestream festival sees the event teaming up with Vanessa, the youth arm of the TAC (Transport Accident Commission).

As part of their Going The Distance campaign, which sees Aussie artists coming together to help young people dealing with self-isolation, Vanessa is set to host a surprise party on Saturday night with a mystery artist appearing via their Instagram channel.

Meanwhile, a number of other partnerships have come about to offer a range of stunning artists. While a partnership with FReeZA sees Trickel, DJ Gay Dad, and Stella McCloskey performing on Saturday, The Area and the City of Paramatta provide some of Western Sydney’s finest hip-hop acts.

While Unified Music Group serves up sets from Stellie, Jack Botts, and Slowly Slowly, and Daily Nightly offers Picket Palace, China, and Big Words, US label Saddle Creek Records kick things off on Saturday morning with appearances from Frances Quinlan and Discq.

Isol-Aid #8 kicks off at 12:55pm AEST on Saturday, May 9th. While these performances are free to watch, organisers urge attendees to – if possible – donate to Support Act, which helps to provide relief for musicians and music industry workers facing physical or mental health issues, or financial hardship.
