A huge festival devoted to K-pop music is set to make its highly-anticipated debut in Sydney this August.

The inaugural HallyuPopFest will bring the best of Korean music and style to the Qudos Bank Arena on the weekend of August 13th-14th.

A stellar lineup of Korean idol stars will be present at the event, including boy bands P1Harmony, ASTRO, SF9, and ONEUS, girl groups EVERGLOW and OH MY GIRL, alongside solo artists, CHUNG HA, Kep1er, Kai, and Chen.

Each day, fans will get an all-in-one, day-to-night experience to remember. HallyuTown will include a red carpet event, while the Hi-Wave Meet and Greet sessions will allow fans and artists to mix in close proximity (while adhering to COVID-19 guidelines).

A spectacular evening concert featuring the headline acts will also be held on both nights. With 10 artists across the two days performing with creative visuals and effects, it’s set to be a memorable experience.

“Korean music and culture have become a global phenomenon over the past decade and nowhere in Australia is the K-Pop revolution more evident than Western Sydney,” Stuart Ayres, Minister for Tourism and Minister for Western Sydney, said.

“The opportunity to see some of the world’s best K-pop acts and attend meet and greet sessions with the artists will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for thousands of fans who will be drawn to Western Sydney, providing a significant boost to the local visitor economy.
