Back in 2022, we introduced you to the new wine brand Headline Access while showcasing their delicious drops – and more importantly, their commitment to the local music scene.

Now, as a testament to their dedication to celebrating music and supporting budding musicians, Headline Acts is offering the opportunity to attend a workshop that no music lover will want to miss.

Following the success of Headline Access The Release Cycle in May this year, which offered one emerging artist the opportunity to gain invaluable mentorship from influential Australian music industry names, the musically-minded wine brand has today revealed the next iteration of Headline Access.

As the official wine partner of Laneway 2023, Headline Access is kicking off two days of intimate artist and industry-led workshops that aim to give aspiring artists the opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge on navigating the music landscape from some of the biggest names in music.

Kicking off the first session on January 31 at Auckland’s East Street Hall hosted by MC SLAVE from Fat Freddy’s Drop is Baltimore hardcore outfit Turnstile who will lead Auckland’s round of Headline Access as they reflect on a decade of commanding moshpits across the globe with their progressive back catalogue and spirited punk ethos.

Joining the series of talks is UK rapper Slowthai and Auckland-based power-pop group The Beths, whose penchant for clever, fast loud songs has earned a loyal following and critical acclaim.

One week later in Sydney’s Abercrombie Hotel on February 7, the workshop will see journalist Mikey Cahill and music writer Sose Fuamoli host while Turnstile and Slowthai again offer an exclusive Q&A.

Additionally, global dance export Logic1000 will showcase her world of electronic club-leaning sounds that have captured the attention of DJs, fans and critics alike.

First Nations artist Tasman Keith will also be hosting a segment of the workshop that will centre on remaining true to yourself as an artist, while also giving insight into the writing process and his experience as a First Nations artist within the industry.

Designed for the Australian music industry creative, Support Act will also be offering a bite-sized segment of their Creative Mind workshop, which sees talks from industry-led panellists.

To be a part of this unmissable opportunity, all aspiring artists need to enter Headline Access’ Band Love competition for the chance to be invited to the workshop, which you can find here.

But that’s not all – Headline Access is also set to reward music fans with a competition that sees two lucky punters the ultimate money-can’t-buy VIP Laneway festival experience. Enter the competition at headlineactswine.com.
