The 2026 APRA Silver Scroll Award | Kaitito Kaiaka and Maioha Award | Tohu Maioha shortlists have been announced.
APRA AMCOS Aotearoa today announced the top 20 songs and top 11 waiata nominated for the prestigious awards. The Silver Scroll top 20 was decided upon by a curated panel of APRA members, featuring Chelsea Nikkel (Princess Chelsea), Holly Arrowsmith, JessB, Mara TK, and more.
Check out the full list of finalists below, featuring the likes of Lorde, Geneva AM, Aldous Harding, Aro, and The Veils.
The winners will be decided by New Zealand APRA members, the songwriters of the country, who will vote for their favourites in each category.
The winners will be announced at the official ceremony on Wednesday, October 14th at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, Aotea Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
The winners at the 2025 APRA Silver Scroll Awards were revealed in Christchurch last October.
Marlon Williams and more won big at the ceremony at the city’s Isaac Theatre Royal. The Warratahs were also inducted into the NZ Music Hall of Fame on the night.
