Hosted on Rolling Stone AU/NZ for the third time, INTROS is back to introduce you to the best rising stars in New Zealand music.
Georgia Lines’ popular music web series, brought to you by Spark and Spotify, in partnership with Rolling Stone AU/NZ, and supported by the NZ Music Commission and APRA, sees the Kiwi pop star sitting down with her favourite female and non-binary artists for a relaxed kōrero.
Each episode focuses on the artist’s chosen song, delving into the story behind the song and the process of writing, before the artist treats viewers to a live performance.
Next up in season five is Imani-J, no stranger to Rolling Stone AU/NZ readers after featuring in multiple weekly roundups.
Imani-J recently dropped new single “talk is cheap”, an Afro-pop anthem featuring Bam Marley. The song landed well with listeners, reaching No. 2 on the Hot 20 Aotearoa Singles chart.
Imani-J has been busy elsewhere this year, playing CubaDupa in Wellington and heading to Sydney for a writing camp supported by APRA.
