Hosted on Rolling Stone AU/NZ for the third time, INTROS is back to introduce you to the best rising stars in New Zealand music.
Georgia Lines’ popular music web series, brought to you by Spark and Spotify, in partnership with Rolling Stone AU/NZ, and supported by the NZ Music Commission and APRA, sees the Kiwi pop star sitting down with her favourite female and non-binary artists for a relaxed kōrero.
Each episode focuses on the artist’s chosen song, delving into the story behind the song and the process of writing, before the artist treats viewers to a live performance.
Next up in season five is Liberty, a Hawke’s Bay artist with a bright future ahead of her in pop music. Listen to Liberty’s 2025 single “Call Me Back, Babe” below.

“We are so excited to finally introduce @liberty.nz… The winner of our Catapult competition that we ran last year!” Lines wrote on social media.
They talked about how Liberty uses TikTok LIVE to test new songs, how she gained 50,000 fans overnight during Cyclone Gabriel with a viral video, and much more.
Lines released her debut album, The Rose of Jericho, to wide acclaim in 2024. Rolling Stone AU/NZ gave it a four-star review, and The Rose of Jericho featured prominently in our 50 Best New Zealand Albums of 2024 list.
The Rose of Jericho earned the singer-songwriter four nominations at last year’s Aotearoa Music Awards, including for Album of the Year and Single of the Year (“The Letter”).
