Kasabian are coming back to Australia in 2027, bringing their ‘Nothing Better Than This’ tour Down Under following the release of their latest album.

The British alt-rockers have confirmed headline shows at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on March 2nd and Perth HPC on March 6th, alongside appearances at Brisbane’s On the Banks festival on February 24th and Melbourne’s Palace Foreshore on March 4th.

They’ll also cross the Tasman for Christchurch’s Electric Avenue festival on February 26th.

Tickets will go on sale at 11am on Wednesday, October 21st, following a presale from 11am on Tuesday, October 20th. All times are local. Sign up for presale here.

The announcement comes just weeks after Kasabian released their ninth studio album, Act III, which debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart in September, marking their eighth chart-topping record.

The album sees the Leicester outfit continue to experiment with their signature alternative rock sound, blending electronic influences, distorted basslines and anthemic choruses with elements of hip hop and ’60s psychedelia.

Fans can expect a mix of new material and some of the band’s biggest hits on the upcoming tour, including “Fire”, “Underdog”, “Shoot the Runner”, “You’re in Love with a Psycho” and “Club Foot”.

The tour follows a massive year for Kasabian, who recently performed to 45,000 fans at London’s Finsbury Park, further cementing their reputation as one of Britain’s most enduring live rock acts.

Formed in Leicester in 1997, Kasabian broke through with their self-titled debut album in 2004 and have since become a fixture of the UK rock scene, selling more than 5.5 million albums worldwide. Their catalogue includes Empire (2006), West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009), Velociraptor! (2011) and For Crying Out Loud (2017), while their live credentials include headline performances at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, and T in the Park.

The band entered a new chapter in 2020 following the departure of original frontman Tom Meighan, with guitarist and principal songwriter Serge Pizzorno stepping into the lead vocalist role. Their 2022 album, The Alchemist’s Euphoria, marked their first full-length release with Pizzorno at the helm, followed by Happenings in 2024 and this year’s Act III.
