Global pop superstar Finneas has announced his return to Australia next February.

The Oscar-winning singer-songwriter will perform two special headline shows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Wednesday, February 1st, and Melbourne’s Forum on Tuesday, February 7th (see full details below).

Tickets for the two headline shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 18th at 12pm local time. The Frontier and Chugg Members pre-sale begins on Wednesday, November 16th at 12pm local time.

While in the country, Billie Eilish’s collaborator and brother will also appear on the lineup at Laneway Festival 2023.

Finneas has spent much of 2022 travelling the world alongside Eilish on his sister’s Happier Than Ever world tour, which included several stops in Australia and New Zealand.

As a solo artist, Finneas released his debut album, Optimist, last year, earning wide critical praise. “His success making records with his sister Billie Eilish got him attention. Now, the gifted singer-songwriter is ready to make his own statement,” Rolling Stone hailed in a positive review.

“The other half of the Eilish success story has earned a reputation as a fearsome talent in his own right – and he delivers spectacularly here,” NME noted.

Optimist earned the musician a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, bringing his total tally of Grammy nominations to an impressive 14, thanks to his famed production and songwriting work for Eilish.

Finneas marked the one-year anniversary of his debut album by releasing the deluxe version last month. It featured all 13 tracks from the original album alongside four brand-new versions, including a cover of The Beatles’ “The Fool on the Hill”.
