Just months on from the release of his aptly-titled Live album, Cold Chisel guitarist and renowned songwriter Ian Moss has announced yet another run of gigs, announcing his ‘One Guitar, One Night Only’ tour for 2021.
Last performing for the 30th anniversary of his Matchbook record throughout 2019 and 2020, Moss’ upcoming tour will take place in June of 2021, and sees him performing in venues across Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Featuring Moss in a stripped-back, solo format, these shows mark the first time he’s performed acoustically in theatres in five years, with cuts from his extensive back catalogue – ranging from Cold Chisel cuts, to his early solo work, and to his latest album – being reimagined in keeping with the intimate nature of the venues.
As a testament to his hard-working nature, these newly-announced shows are set to begin just weeks after the completion of the 2021 leg of Moss’ Matchbook anniversary tour, which begins in late February, and wraps up at the end of April.
Tickets to Moss’ upcoming tour go on sale from 9am local time on Friday, December 4th, while a 48-hour Fan Club pre-sale begins at 9am on Wednesday, December 2nd. A small amount of VIP tickets are also available, featuring access to Moss’ soundcheck, a meet-and-greet experience, and a number of other perks.
