Swae Lee is heading back to Australia in January 2027, announcing five headline shows as part of his ‘Same Difference Tour’.
The Grammy-nominated rapper and singer will kick off the Australian leg in Melbourne on January 6th, before making his way to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. See full dates below.
The tour follows the release of Lee’s debut solo studio album in April, marking a new chapter for the artist best known as one half of hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd. The record features collaborations with Post Malone, Jhené Aiko and French Montana, among others. Having already taken the ‘Same Difference Tour’ across Europe this year, Lee will return to Australian stages following his appearance at Rolling Loud Australia, where he joined a lineup featuring Tyga, Sexyy Red and Quavo.
While Lee has performed in Australia more recently, his last local tour with Rae Sremmurd, alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi, was in 2015, when the duo appeared at Listen Out.
Beyond his work with Rae Sremmurd, Lee has built an impressive catalogue of solo hits and collaborations, most notably “Sunflower” with Post Malone. Featured on the soundtrack to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the track became the first song in history to receive a double Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), recognising 20 million units in the US.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday, October 23rd, following a Live Nation presale beginning at 9am on Thursday, October 22nd. All times are local. Sign up for presale here.
