The Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth returns again this January.
Australia’s largest and longest country music festival will go back to its traditional 10-day time slot in 2023, taking place from January 13th-January 22nd.
The 51st edition of the beloved festival will see some of the country’s biggest country performers converge on Tamworth to create an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all ages.
The likes of Troy Cassar-Daley, Kasey Chambers, Lee Kernaghan and many, many more will show off their talents, with a wide array of genres like classic country, Americana, blues, roots, alt-country and more soundtracking the 10 days.
The FanZone Stage will give fans the opportunity to meet their favourite country music stars, with some of the biggest names set to perform for free. The Toyota Park, the festival’s largest venue, will also host a series of free live events across the 10 days.
It’s not just about live music either, with a huge variety of entertainment options available down the pedestrian-only main street. Think enticing food & drink, thrilling carnival rides, energetic street performers and buskers, market stalls and much more.
On January 21st, the industry’s biggest names will appear at the Country Music Awards of Australia, better known as the prestigious Golden Guitar Awards. Tickets to the 2023 Toyota Golden Guitar Awards are on sale now here.
And if you dream of following in the hallowed footsteps of Chambers or Kernaghan one day, the Toyota Star Maker Talent Quest will look to discover Australia’s next big country music star.
The top 10 performers will compete in the Toyota Star Maker Grand Final on January 15th at Toyota Park, where the winner will walk away with an incredible prize package worth $100,000.
