The Others Way is going all out for its 2024 edition.
Auckland’s favourite street party will return to the Karangahape Road precinct on Saturday, November 30th, with one of its most impressive collection of artists yet.
Fresh from a run of dates along Australia’s east coast in the same month, A. Savage will perform at The Others Way. The Parquet Courts frontman is touring in support of his latest solo album, Several Songs About Fire, which drew positive reviews from Pitchfork and other publications.
Acclaimed Canadian indie singer-songwriter Andy Shauf will also head to The Others Way off the back of a solo Australian tour. Also from North America, LA-based duo Dean & Britta will bring the songs of seminal dream-pop band Galaxie 500 to the festival.
Mildlife won’t have as long to travel, bringing their genre-bending grooves from Australia, while Swedish producer Olof Dreijer, better known as one half of The Knife, is the only other overseas act to feature in today’s first lineup announcement.
From New Zealand, Princess Chelsea & the Dream Warriors, Voom, and more will appear at this year’s Others Way, as will the one and only Ladyhawke, playing her iconic self-titled debut album.
