Nigerian superstar singer Tems is making her return to Australia.
The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer will perform across the east coast this November, stopping in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney (see full details below).
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, May 15th at 11am local time, while the Frontier member pre-sale begins on Monday, May 13th at 10am local time.
Tems was last in Australia in September of last year, when she performed sold-out headline shows on her debut visit to the country. Her upcoming tour will see her perform in Brisbane for the first time.
Tems released her latest single, “Love Me JeJe”, last month, the first taste of her highly anticipated debut album. Titled Born in the Wild, her debut is scheduled for release in May.
Written by Tems alone and produced by Spax and Guiltybeatz, “Love Me JeJe” (“JeJe” means “softly” in Nigerian), features an interpolation of the Nigerian classic of the same name by Seyi Sodimu. Listen to Tems’ track below.
Tems was recently honoured with the Breakthrough Award at Billboard‘s 2024 Women in Music Awards, where she also performed “Not an Angel” live.
Tems’ career has gone from strength to strength since she first rose to fame through her guest spot on Wizkid’s 2020 hit “Essence”. She’s offered her stunning vocals to collaborations with Future, Drake, Tyla, Beyoncé, and more.
Tems’ “Love Me JeJe” is out now, Born in the Wild is out May (pre-save/pre-order here).
