Slowdive have confirmed rescheduled tour dates for Australia and New Zealand.

The revered shoegaze outfit were initially due to tour in April, including an appearance at the inaugural Daydream Festival, but the trip was postpone when their drummer, Simon Scott, suffered a back injury.

“We are sorry to announce that we have to postpone our upcoming shows in Australia due to unforeseen circumstances,” the band shared in a statement at the time. “Our drummer, Simon Scott, has suffered an injury to his back prior to our departure that has left him unable to travel or to perform for the moment.

“We will endeavour to reschedule our planned club shows so please hold tickets for those shows for now and we’ll provide more information as we have it. We appreciate your support and understanding, and wish Simon a speedy recovery.”

And Slowdive have lived up to their promise, unveiling a string of tour dates for July. Beginning in Perth, the English band will then head to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland (see full dates below).

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 2nd at 9am local time. The early bird pre-sale begins Wednesday, May 31st at 9am local time (sign up here).

It should be noted that all existing tickets for the previously announced shows in Perth, Sydney and Adelaide remain valid with no action required.
