RÜFÜS DU SOL will celebrate their new album with a special Sydney show.
The Grammy-winning electronic trio have today announced a sunset show on Thursday, October 10th, set to be held on the iconic Sydney Harbour.
Tickets to the one-off event go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 4th at 10am AEST here.
RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Sydney Harbour show will take place the evening before their new album, Inhale / Exhale, drops on Friday, October 11th.
If you can’t make it to Sydney next week, you might be in luck: the group have launched a mysterious countdown on their official website, hinting at the announcement of more live shows to come.
RÜFÜS DU SOL recently shared “Pressure,” another taste of Inhale / Exhale.
Hailed as “an instant new anthem amidst the RÜFÜS discography,” “Pressure” is a defiant ode to the importance of perseverance. “You’ll never break me down, cause I can take the pressure,” Tyrone Lindqvist sings in the track.
“Pressure” follows previous album singles “Music Is Better,” “Lately,” and “Break My Love.” Listen to the new single below.
The trio’s single drop comes after they received four nominations for the 2024 ARIA Awards. RÜFÜS DU SOL earned nods for Best Group, Best Dance/Electronic Release (“Music Is Better”), Best Video (“Lately”), and Best Australian Live Act.
Inhale / Exhale represents a new chapter for the trio, with the group describing this era as one where they’re just enjoying the process and creating in the moment. The album promises to explore the emotional highs and lows that have defined their sound – love, heartache, and everything in between – wrapped up in their signature mix of organic and electronic sounds.
The trio have been busy on the festival circuit, getting the party going at Coachella in 2024 and hosting their boutique Sundream Festival in Mexico. In 2025, they’ll take the stage at all three South American editions of Lollapalooza as the only electronic headliners.
