We have some good Aotearoa festival news to bring you (for a change): Rhythm and Alps has confirmed its return for its 16th year.
Organisers today confirmed that Rhythm and Alps is back for its 16th anniversary bash with a refreshed two-day format, set to take place over December 30th-31st “for its biggest New Year’s celebration yet.”
Tickets are on sale today (June 4th) at 10am local time via the official website.
Festival fans should not that early bird tickets are limited, “so rally your besties and get in quick to lock in your spot at New Zealand’s iconic New Year’s festival.”
Full festival tickets are on offer, giving access to both days, or single-day tickets can be purchased for either December 30th or 31st.
Beyond ticketing, attendees can tailor their experience with a range of camping and accommodation options, from a classic bring-your-own setup in Valley Camp to premium camping in Peak Camp with private facilities and pre-pitched tent packages. Boutique glamping is also available in Glamtopia, while there’s also the campervan-friendly Roadie Camp.

Rhythm and Alps celebrated its 15th anniversary last December, with grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal booked as the headliner.
Rhythm and Alps 2025 drew thousands of Kiwi festival fans to see the likes of Rudimental, The Black Seeds, Chaos in the CBD, Corrella, and many more. The year before that, Lime Cordiale, Montell2099, and DJ Aroha were amongst the talent on show at Rhythm and Alps 2024.
