Tāmaki Makaurau’s multi-venue extravaganza The Others Way Festival 2023 has unveiled its final lineup.
Joining the already impressive roster are Fazerdaze with a full band, Los Angeles-based whistling sensation Molly Lewis, Iranian/Aotearoa hip hop artist CHAII, Ōtautahi’s Minisnap (the side-project of Flying Nun favourites The Bats), and garage rockers Girl and Girl, who are signed with Sub Pop.
They’ll be sharing the stage with previously announced headliners, Oakland rap icons Souls Of Mischief, who are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking album 93 ’til Infinity, as well as US harp virtuoso Mary Lattimore, Puerto Rican-born multi-instrumentalist Pachyman, and Aotearoa heavy hitters such as Herbs (acoustic), Opensouls, Trinity Roots, The Veils, Deryk, Vera Ellen, and many more.
This year’s festival has something for everyone, with an outdoor stage on Galatos Street and a dedicated all-ages stage at The Underground in St Kevins Arcade to showcase emerging talent. The Underground lineup features punks MELANIE, noise-pop group Feshh, Buzz, Late To Chelsea, and The CMC. Tickets can be purchased separately HERE.
