Can’t make it to Griffith for triple j’s One Night Stand this weekend? You won’t have to miss out, with the festival set to be broadcast and livestreamed across Australia.
The regional music festival is taking over Griffith this Saturday (September 5th), with Ninajirachi, DMA’S, and Genesis Owusu among the artists set to perform.
From 2pm (AEST), triple j will hand over its airwaves to One Night Stand, broadcasting performances and highlights from throughout the day. Abby and Tyrone, Lucy Smith, and Jordan and Luka will be on the ground to take listeners through the action.
Then, from 6pm (AEST), the festival will hit screens with a livestream on triple j’s YouTube channel. Genesis Owusu will kick off, followed by DMA’S, and headliner Ninajirachi who will close out the night. The three artists sit at the top of an all-Australian lineup that also features MAY-A and Beddy Rays.
Ninajirachi arrives at One Night Stand following a huge run behind her debut album, I Love My Computer, while DMA’S are set to give fans a taste of their recently released self-titled album, which earned them the No. 1 spot on the ARIA Albums chart last week. Genesis Owusu, meanwhile, will bring his live show to Griffith following the release of his third album, REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE.
Those heading to Griffith can also get involved in Tapped In, a series of curated music industry conversations presented by MusicNSW, while limited tickets to One Night Stand remain available. See here for details.
