Triple j’s beloved One Night Stand festival is coming back to regional Australia this year.
Announced this morning by new Breakfast hosts Abby & Tyrone, the 2026 edition is returning with a killer all-Australian lineup, including Ninajirachi, DMA’S and Genesis Owusu.
Set to take place on Saturday, September 5th, the annual event will once again transform one regional town into the country’s live music capital for a day. The location will be revealed at 8am (AEST) on Wednesday (July 15th).
Fresh off one of the biggest years of her career, Ninajirachi tops the bill after releasing her acclaimed debut album I Love My Computer, making her Coachella debut, and selling out venues across Australia.
Joining her are indie favourites DMA’S, who will use the festival to debut material from their forthcoming fifth album live for the first time. The Sydney trio have become one of Australia’s biggest live exports over the past decade, with appearances at Glastonbury, Coachella, and Lollapalooza.
Genesis Owusu will also bring his acclaimed live show to the regional event following the release of his third album, REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE. Completing the lineup are alt-pop star MAY-A, who continues to tour behind her debut album Goodbye (If You Call That Gone), and Queensland rock outfit Beddy Rays.
As in previous years, an emerging act will also earn a coveted place on the bill through the triple j Unearthed competition, giving one local artist the opportunity to perform alongside some of Australia’s biggest names.
