Laneway Festival may be skipping Adelaide and Perth in 2027, but fans in both cities won’t miss out entirely.
Fontaines D.C., Jane Remover, and Tiffany Day have announced sideshows across the two cities next February, following the reveal of Laneway’s 2027 lineup this morning.
When organisers announced the reduced touring schedule earlier this year, they said the change would free up time for “more artists to bring headline shows to cities beyond our festival stops”.
Fontaines D.C. will play two standalone Australian dates outside of their Laneway appearances, taking over Perth’s RAC Arena on February 9th and Adelaide’s AEC Arena on February 17th. The Dublin band will be joined at both shows by fellow Irish outfit and Laneway lineup act Gurriers.
The dates come amid another major year for Fontaines D.C., who will release their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, on October 16th via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford and led by single “Marianne”, the record follows their 2024 album, Romance.
Fontaines D.C. are returning to Laneway for the first time in four years, where they will perform an extended headline set. They lead the festival’s bill alongside Hayley Williams, with Slayyyter, ADÉLA, Kim Petras, MUNA, Ninajirachi, Rico Nasty, DIIV and Rachel Chinouriri also among the lineup.
Jane Remover will also squeeze in headline dates around their Laneway appearances, playing The Rechabite in Perth on February 10th and The Gov in Adelaide on February 18th. The shows form part of the artist’s ‘Live Exhibit Tour’ and follow appearances at Coachella, Roskilde and Reading, as well as a sold-out North American tour.

Meanwhile, Tiffany Day will make her Australian debut in 2027, including a one-off Perth headline show at The Rechabite on February 16th. The self-produced hyperpop artist released HALO, which reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s Electronic chart, and has also attracted attention through her BASSFLUFF DJ project.
Tickets to the sideshows will go on sale at 11am on Friday, October 9th, following a presale from 11am on Thursday, October 8th. All times are local.
Laneway Festival itself will kick off at Sydney’s Centennial Park on February 12th before travelling to Brisbane Showgrounds on February 13th and Melbourne’s Flemington Park on February 19th. The festival wraps up at Auckland’s Western Springs on February 21st.
