The Northern Bass 2026 first artist lineup is here.
The popular Mangawhai-based festival has officially kicked off what’s slated to be its “biggest year yet,” today unveiling the initial artists booked for 2026.
Northern Bass will return to Mangawhai on Wednesday, December 30th and Thursday, December 31st, with revellers set to welcome in the new year in style with plenty of drum & bass, jungle, grime, and electronic music.
The first lineup, which you can see in full below, features Lee Mvtthews and many, many more.
Now in its 15th year, the festival’s longevity “is an incredible achievement for everyone who’s been part of “Northern Bass,” as promoter Gareth Popham says in a statement.
“The festival has grown every year, but the heart of it has always been bringing together amazing artists, incredible production, and a community that lives for this event.
“The milestone edition is a chance to celebrate how far Northern Bass has come while looking firmly to the future.”

Last year was a record-breaking edition for Northern Bass. The festival sold out in early December, with 3,500 people missing out on tickets. According to a press release, “demand for this year’s festival is already tracking well ahead of the same point in 2025.”
“Last year’s response was unbelievable, and knowing thousands of people missed out has only motivated us to make this anniversary edition even bigger,” Popham adds. “This first lineup is just the beginning, and we’ve still got plenty more to reveal.”
