Niall Horan has extended his upcoming Australian tour to meet demand.

The pop superstar confirmed last month that he was bringing his world tour to Australia and New Zealand in early 2024. Dates were announced for Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in April and May of next year.

And after experiencing overwhelming demand, Horan has added a second show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, May 4th (see full dates below). It will be Horan’s second headline tour of Australia, following his world tour in 2018, and tickets are on sale now to the general public.

The former One Direction singer is touring in support of his forthcoming album, The Show, which is scheduled for release next month on June 9th.

Horan is very excited to return to this part of the world. “I have said it many times, but I do mean it when I say that the times I have spent down under are some of the best periods of my life,” he says about the upcoming tour.

“I have had amazing shows in Australia and New Zealand, and I cannot wait to be back in 2024. My favourite thing in the world is being on tour. Performing my songs for my fans and sharing those incredible moments together are the reason why I write music in the first place. This is going to be my best tour yet and I cannot wait to see all you ‘lovers’ in 2024.”
