The lineup for Tora Bombora 2027 is here.
Organisers confirmed last month that the boutique Aotearoa New Zealand music festival would be returning next year after a four-year hiatus.
Tora Bombora will make its long-awaited to Wairarapa on January 22nd-24th, bringing “live music, community, and conscious connection” back to the coastline of Tora, Wairarapa.
The lineup, announced today, is led by Fat Freddy’s Drop icon Dallas Tamaira, who’ll bring his full band for what will be his first-ever festival appearance performing his solo material.
From Australia, acclaimed jazz-house band Close Counters are also headliners, bringing their full live show to Toara for the very first time.
Also coming from overseas will be Puerto Rico’s Pachyman, Aussie funk outfit Warbaby, and Byron Bay indie artists Yellow the Sun and Smokey Case, and more.
The likes of Christoph El Truento, Casual Healing, Debt Club, MĀ, meanwhile, will head to the festival from New Zealand.

The festival is returning bigger than ever next year, expanding its capacity to 2,000 attendees “while remaining firmly committed to the intimate community-led spirit” that made it so popular in the first place.
“After four years away, bringing Tora Bombora back feels incredibly special. The world — and our little corner of Aotearoa — has changed a lot since we last gathered on the coast,” festival founder Louis Murphy-Harris said last month.
“The pause gave me time to travel, learn, grow, and fall back in love with the things that made Tora special in the first place. Now feels like the right time to reconnect through music, nature, and community.
“There is a whakataukī that feels particularly fitting: ‘Anō ko te marama kua ngaro, kua ara anō’ — ‘like the moon that disappears and rises again.’ Some things aren’t gone forever. Sometimes they simply wait for the right season to return,” he adds
