Major Lazer will headline the return of New Year’s at the Bowl, with the Melbourne festival unveiling a stacked lineup for its second edition.
After debuting last year, New Year’s at the Bowl will return to Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the surrounding Kings Domain gardens on Thursday, December 31st, with three stages running into the early hours of 2027.
Major Lazer lead the 2026 lineup alongside Don West, DJ Seinfeld (Live), Flight Facilities (DJ), CC!, Helena Hauff, Todd Terje (DJ), Close Counters, Miami Horror, Yung Singh, Adriana, Surusinghe, Maden Lane, Claire O’Brien, MZRIZK, and more. Check out the full lineup below.
A special guest is also still to be announced for the festival’s midnight countdown, while PBS FM’s Milo Eastwood will host and soundtrack The Bowl throughout the day.

The appearance will mark Major Lazer’s first Australian show since 2015. Led by Diplo alongside Walshy Fire, Ape Drums and vocalist America Foster, the group are behind dance hits including “Lean On”, “Cold Water”, and “Light It Up”.
New Year’s at the Bowl will once again spread across three spaces, with The Bowl serving as its main stage, Garden leaning into live music, soul and disco, and the 360-degree Sundial focusing on club sounds. Music will continue until 1.30am.

Tickets will go on sale at 1pm on Tuesday, September 8th, following a presale from 12pm on Monday, September 7th. Earlybird GA tickets start from $169.90 plus fees.
