Major Lazer will return to Australia for the first time in 11 years to headline Field Day 2027, leading a stacked dance lineup for the Sydney festival’s New Year’s Day return.
The electronic group will be joined at The Domain on Friday, January 1st by fellow headliner Sub Focus, as well as Andy C, Elderbrook, Boys Noize, Hannah Laing, Oppidan, Club Angel, 2charm, and more. Check out the full lineup below.

Major Lazer’s appearance will mark their first Australian visit in more than a decade. Led by Diplo alongside Walshy Fire, Ape Drums and vocalist America Foster, the group are behind global hits including “Lean On”, “Cold Water”, and “Light It Up”. They returned to Coachella this year for the first time in almost a decade and also performed at the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony.
Sub Focus comes Down Under following the release of his fourth studio album, Contact, which features collaborations with Grimes, John Summit, Katy B, and Fireboy DML. His single “Push The Tempo” recently delivered the British producer his first No. 1 hit on US dance radio.
Drum & bass veteran Andy C will make the trip to Sydney alongside Elderbrook, whose 2017 CamelPhat collaboration “Cola” earned a Grammy nomination, while Boys Noize return after spending 2025 and 2026 supporting Nine Inch Nails on their ‘Peel It Back’ tour.

Melbourne duo 2charm will bring tracks from their Ninajirachi-produced debut album, Star Scum City, while Sydney’s Club Angel is on the bill following a breakout run of headline shows and international dates. Cassette, Stacie Fields, Disco Dora, Fried Pork Chop, Latifa Tee, Loosie Grind, and Wiradjuri duo Tiddalicious are also among the local names.
Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Thursday, September 10th, following a presale from 12pm on Wednesday, September 9th. All times are AEST. Sign up for presale here.
Field Day is also introducing a discounted ticket initiative for younger festivalgoers in 2027, setting aside $99.90 (+ fees) tickets for people aged between 18 and 25. The ticket ballot opens at 12pm on Wednesday, September 2nd and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday, September 6th. See here for details.

The 2027 edition also marks promoter Fuzzy’s 30th anniversary. Field Day has been held at The Domain for more than 25 years, with previous lineups featuring RÜFÜS DU SOL, The xx, Disclosure, Mark Ronson, Tame Impala, Solange, Flume and Dom Dolla.
