Magnum Ice Cream is set to collaborate with global hitmaker Miley Cyrus on an upcoming 8D sound virtual concert, ‘Miley In Layers’.

For Cyrus, who recently performed on SNL, at the Super Bowl and March Madness tournament, it’s a chance for her fans to catch her from the comfort of their own home thanks to Magnum‘s #ShowYourLayers campaign.

The ‘Miley In Layers’ concert will see the bonafide superstar perform some of her biggest hits, as well as tracks from her latest album Plastic Hearts. She’ll also play an exclusive cover of Midnight Star’s “Midas Touch”, re-mastered appositely as “Miley’s Touch”.

While much of the world is still unable to attend in-person live performances due to COVID-19, the immersive 8D sound technology creates the sensation that Cyrus is right there in the room with you. The concert will be made available to watch on YouTube so that fans from all over the world can catch the exclusive show.

In a statement about the collaboration, Cyrus revealed that performing is one of the things that makes her feel more “empowered”.

“The greatest super-power we have is our individuality. As I’ve evolved as an artist, I’ve been able to explore the different layers of who I am and what brings me pleasure-whether I’m writing, in the studio, performing on stage for thousands of fans or wearing something that makes me feel empowered,” she said.

“My biggest pleasure in life is music and I’m so excited to be performing in 8D for you all,” she added. “I hope this campaign with Magnum inspires everyone to embrace their own layers and proudly go after whatever it is that brings them pleasure.”

The exclusive performance, set to premiere on Friday June 11th, was shot by renowned fashion photographer Vjat Mohindra, who has previously worked with the likes of Gwen Stefani and Nicki Minaj.

The ‘Miley In Layers’ concert will stream via YouTube premiere on Friday, June 11th at 4.30 am AEST, tune in through Miley Cyrus’ official YouTube channel.
