Close to a year on from the release of their second album, the chart-topping 14 Steps to A Better You, Lime Cordiale have revealed a run of long-awaited national tour dates to celebrate the record.
Announced today, the six-date tour will see Oli and Louis Liembach playing a highly-anticipated series of headline shows, with dates set for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.
Releasing their second album in July of 2020, Lime Cordiale’s 14 Steps to A Better You arrived in the midst of the global pandemic, and received critical acclaim across the board. In addition to topping the ARIA chart, the album was nominated for a total of six ARIA Awards – including Album of The Year – with the group ultimately taking home the Breakthrough Artist – Release award.
With touring an impossibility and album launch shows postponed, Lime Cordiale also shared a deluxe edition of the record in November, with live shows finally returning with some regularity earlier this year. Just last month, the group’s show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre made headlines after British actor, writer, producer, rapper, and singer-songwriter Idris Elba joined them onstage for a surprise performance of “Unnecessary Things”.
Though it’s currently unclear what kind of surprises are in store on the band’s upcoming national trek, Lime Cordiale’s 14 Steps to A Better You tour serves as their biggest headline tour to date, so it stands to reason they’ll make these shows ones to remember.
