Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has announced a 2023 tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Beginning in Sydney on July 8th, Capaldi will then perform in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, before heading to New Zealand for shows in Auckland and Wellington (see full dates below). It will be his first shows Down Under since early 2020.

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public from Friday, October 28th at 10am local time. The Secret Sounds pre-sale begins on Thursday, October 27th at 9am local time, while the pre-sale for American Express Card members starts on Tuesday, October 25th at 10am local time.

The tour will celebrate the artist’s newly announced album Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent, which is set for release on Friday, May 19th via EMI Records (pre-order here).

It’s the eagerly-anticipated follow-up to his 2019 debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which reached number seven on the ARIA Albums Chart and was the best-selling album in the UK two years running.

Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent contains new single “Forget Me”, which became Capaldi’s third number one UK hit.

Prior to the Australian and New Zealand leg of his world tour, Capaldi will visit Australia next month to co-host the 2022 ARIA Awards alongside eight time ARIA Award winner Natalie Imbruglia.
