Genre-hopping supergroup LEISURE have released their fourth album, Leisurevision.

Comprised of members of Kids of 88, Goodnight Nurse, and more, LEISURE’s latest is “a record for groovers and shakers with introspection,” according to a press release.

Leisurevision “navigates the human experience, and all the hope, joy, chaos and euphoria it entails.” The album is also encapsulated by the colour green, representing balance, peace and tranquility. Leisure by name, leisure by nature.

Leisurevision sees the world through that lens, content and curious, we’re excited for you to experience it, together,” the band say.

Leisurevision is the follow-up to 2021’s Sunsetter, which was released in the height of New Zealand’s lockdowns. The album features previous single “Always”, a typically bright and breezy song about the value of bring surrounded by friends and loved ones.

“So much has happened in our worlds since the last record and in a lot of ways life has highlighted how important it is to be surrounded by the people we love,” the band recently said about the track. “”Always” begins a new phase in our LEISURE journey by acknowledging those we couldn’t continue on without.”

Leisurevision also features “Still Rolling”, which “celebrates the feeling of knowing someone has your back no matter what situations you find yourself in.”

To celebrate their new album, LEISURE are about to hit the road on a national tour. The band will perform in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland in October. Following that, they’ll head to Australia for shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in November and December (see full dates below).
