L.A.B are going on a summer tour of New Zealand accompanied by some very special guests.
The reggae rockers will perform in New Plymouth, Taupō, and Whangārei in January of next year, accompanied by Stan Walker, Corrella, Aaradhna, and AJA.
Tickets to all three shows go on sale on Wednesday, July 10th at 12pm local time via Loop.
L.A.B are touring in support of their latest album, L.A.B VI, which was just included in Rolling Stone AU/NZ‘s Best New Zealand Albums of 2024 So Far countdown.
“They just keep producing the goods, don’t they? The New Zealand chart titans deliver the type of breezy reggae and pop-rock anthems on their sixth album that have made them one of the biggest Kiwi bands of their generation,” we wrote.
“It would have been understandable if L.A.B had grown somewhat complacent — even their album titles are stringently formulaic by now — but their sixth album is full of songs of formidable prowess, even if they rarely sway from the band’s winning sonic recipe.
“Consistently releasing popular album after popular album is a difficult thing for any band to do, but L.A.B have found a formula that works for them; don’t bet against L.A.B VI being their third consecutive chart-topping album in their home country, as well as their sixth to go platinum. Remarkable longevity, really.”

Stan Walker really needs no introduction, the Aotearoa icon coming into L.A.B’s tour after another stellar year that saw him appear on the soundtrack for Ava DuVernay’s latest film, Origin.
Corrella, meanwhile, are one of New Zealand’s most exciting up-and-coming acts, set to release their new album before the end of the year.
Like Walker, Aaaradhna is another icon of Aotearoa music, and the L.A.B tour will be her first tour since her sold-out 2023 run.
Last but certainly not least is AJA, winner of the 2022 APRA Maioha Award. It makes sense that AJA is one of the support acts, with the musician contributing guest vocals to L.A.B’s new album.
