After supporting Ed Sheeran on the New Zealand leg of his mammoth world tour, Kaylee Bell is going it alone with a solo tour of her home country.

Bell and her full live band will visit Waimate, Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Hamilton, and Auckland in May (see full dates below).

The country star shared her excitement about her first headline tour of New Zealand. “It’s always been a dream to tour through NZ playing my music to people and we can’t wait to get to play both islands and meet as many people as we can out on tour,” she says.

“Music is about bringing people together and I can’t wait for this tour to do that. This year has started off in an incredible way playing stadiums with Ed Sheeran and we can’t wait to carry that on playing shows around NZ.”

Bell has been busy on the touring front recently. As well as supporting Sheeran, she also played the main stage at Australia’s iconic CMC Rocks Festival, and also backed up the likes of Keith Urban and Six60.

Bell’s tour is named after her latest single, “Boots ‘N All”. She recruited ARIA Award-winning duo MSquared (Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis), Lindsay Rhimes (Kane Brown), and Emily Hatton to make the barnstorming song.

It’s a typically driving uptempo number from the country music favourite, dripping with savvy confidence. Bell firmly has her tongue in her cheek on the playful song, considering the expectations placed on a future partner.
