New Zealand country music star Kaylee Bell is touring Australia for the first time.

The Nashville-based artist will perform in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne in May on her ‘Nights Like This’ album tour (see full dates below), with tickets going on sale to the general public on Thursday, February 1st at 9am local time.

“Australia… we are coming to play my first headline tour this May and we can’t wait to see you!” the singer-songwriter wrote on social media today.

Bell is well-known in Australia, having moved there from New Zealand at the age of 21 to kickstart her country music career. She performed her original song, “Keith”, as a tribute to Keith Urban on The Voice Australia, with her song going on to become a global hit with over 60 million plays on TikTok alone. “Keith” also reached number 12 on the US Billboard Charts for Country Digital Sales, and spent five weeks atop the Australia Country Radio Official Chart.

2023 was a major year in Bell’s career: she supported Ed Sheeran on the New Zealand leg of his world tour, she won a CMA Award for Global Country Artist at the 2023 CMA Awards in Nashville, and her single “Boots ‘N All” was a Top 20 crossover hit on New Zealand Pop Radio. Bell also embarked on a solo tour of her home country last year, with extra dates being added due to overwhelming demand.

Having spent the past 14 years travelling back and forth between Nashville and New Zealand, which included opening slots for The Chicks, Brad Paisley, and the aforementioned Sheeran, Bell decided recently to properly relocate to the US city as an independent, self-managed artist.
