grentperez is going to finish his breakout year with a huge tour of Australia and New Zealand.

The Sydney artist will perform in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Auckland, and Wellington this December (see full dates below). The tour will follow several appearances at Spilt Milk Festival.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 18th at 10am AEST. The pre-sale begins on Thursday, August 17th at 12pm AEST.

The upcoming shows will be grentperez’s biggest national tour to date, following a sold-out run of shows in 2022. He’s going to be extremely busy on the touring front elsewhere this year, including supporting indie pop star Rex Orange County in Australia and New Zealand and returning to North America for a rescheduled headline tour.

grentperez released his highly-anticipated EP, When We Were Younger, earlier this year, a seven-track collection centred around the concept of nostalgia.

According to grentperez, the EP was “a collection of music each relating to figures of the past whether it be in love, loss, families, and friendship.”

When We Were Younger contained cool cuts like “When The Day Is Done”, a song the fledgling pop artist said was an example of him trying “to create a timeless classic the whole family can listen to, or as my dad would say, ‘The song I can dance to.'”

grentperez’s latest EP was also noted for its genre-bending ability, traversing everything from glistening pop to Philadelphia soul to bossa nova to the soundtracks of ’90s romcoms.
