British singer-songwriter George Ezra has announced an Australian tour for later this year.

Presented by Secret Sounds, the pop star will perform headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth throughout October and November. It will be his first tour of the country in three years.

Presale for the tour begins on Thursday, June 9th a 10am local time. Tickets then go on sale to the general public from 10am local time on Friday, June 10th.

Ezra’s Australian tour will follow his special show at London’s Finsbury Park in July, which features a stellar lineup of special guests including Blossoms, Holly Humbertsone, Mimi Webb, The Big Moon, Mychelle, and London International Gospel Choir.

The tour is in support of Ezra’s upcoming album Gold Rush Kid, set for release on Friday, June 10th (pre-order here). Ezra worked on the new album with his frequent collaborator, Joel Pott, as well as The Killers and Madonna producer, Stuart Price.

Gold Rush Kid contains the single “Anyone for You (Tiger Lily)”, which triumphantly announced Ezra’s return in 2022, and was followed by two more singles, “Green Green Grass” and “I Went Hunting”.

His third studio album is the follow-up to 2018’s Staying at Tamara’s, which reached number seven on the ARIA Albums Chart. It performed even better in his home country, becoming the UK’s best-selling artist album of the year in 2018. It also received a nomination for British Album of the Year at the 2019 Brit Awards.
