Charlie Puth has extended his upcoming Australian tour to meet demand.
The multiple Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter will embark on his first-ever tour of the two countries in October and November, performing shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland. Puth will also visit Asia on his way to Australia and New Zealand, visiting Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul.
After the initially announced Melbourne show quickly sold out, Puth has announced that he’ll head to Margaret Court Arena again on Monday, October 30th (see full dates below).
Tickets to the second Melbourne show go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, June 20th at 11am local time. Tickets to all other shows, apart from the sold-out Melbourne date, are on sale now.
A pop superstar in the US, Puth’s music has also been widely embraced by Australian listeners. His three studio albums – 2016’s Nine Track Mind, 2018’s Voicenotes and last year’s Charlie – all reached the top 10 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Several of his biggest hits, including “Marvin Gaye” (ft. Meghan Trainor), “One Call Away” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore (ft. Selena Gomez) have all been certified platinum multiple times in Australia.
Puth is touring in support of the latter of his three albums, which became his third consecutive top 10 album in his home country. It gained the singer-songwriter the strongest reviews of his career to date, including from Rolling Stone.
