Charli XCX has announced two Australian tour shows for next year.
The global pop star will perform at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Tuesday, February 28th and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Thursday, March 2nd (see full details below).
Tickets for the two shows go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, December 20th at 12pm AEDT. The Frontier Members pre-sale kicks off on Monday, December 19th at 11am AEDT (sign up here).
While Down Under, Charli XCX will appear at music and lifestyle festival For The Love Festival alongside the likes of Duke Dumont and Budjerah, with the festival being held in Wollongong, Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast throughout February and March (more information here).
She’ll also perform at Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert with Jessica Mauboy and Kylie Minogue on Friday, February 24th.
Charli XCX released her fifth studio album, Crash, earlier this year, topping the charts in both Australia and the U.K.. Crash was the singer-songwriter’s first number one album in her home country.
Named as triple j’s feature album of the week, Crash contained huge hits like “Good Ones”, “Beg For You” and “New Shapes”. The album featured collaborators such as fellow acclaimed pop artists Christine and the Queens, Caroline Polachek and Rina Sawayama.
