Norway’s acclaimed alternative-pop artist AURORA is making her return to Australia next year.

The singer-songwriter will bring her stunning live show to Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne throughout March 2023 (see full dates below). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, August 30th at 9am local time. Presale begins on Monday, August 29th at 9am local time (fans can sign up here).

The tour will celebrate AURORA’s latest album, The Gods We Can Touch, which became her second chart-topping album in her home country earlier this year. The album also reached the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart, her first album to achieve the feat. The Gods We Can Touch became the third most streamed new album in the world on Spotify on the weekend of its release.

AURORA’s third studio album was mainly recorded in Barony Rosendal, a historic estate surrounded by mountains, and was hugely inspired by Greek mythology.

The album received unanimous critical acclaim upon its release. The Line of Best Fit hailed it as an “ethereal masterpiece,” while Clash said that the themes of “angry, celebratory, wallowing and cathartic energies exhibit themselves in a maximalist way.”

AURORA has spent much of 2022 impressing crowds across the globe. She appeared in the star-studded lineup at BST Hyde Park in London last month alongside the likes of Florence + the Machine and Gorillaz; She sold-out a headline tour in both the US and UK

In her home country, she headlined the recent Øya Festival, while this year also saw the singer win the prestigious Spellemann Award – Norway’s version of the GRAMMYs – for International Success of the Year.
