Apple is celebrating Aus Music Month this November with a series of free live performances and artist conversations, featuring Tash Sultana, The Rubens, Anna Lunoe and acclaimed producer Styalz Fuego.
Taking over Apple Sydney every Thursday through November, the four-week program will shine a spotlight on Australian music, bringing audiences closer to the artists, producers and creative minds shaping the country’s sound.
Sydney-born DJ and producer Anna Lunoe will kick things off on Thursday, November 5th, with a special edition of her Apple Music radio series HYPERHOUSE. Known for championing boundary-pushing electronic music and delivering high-energy sets around the world, Lunoe will perform live before sitting down with rising artist DEVAURA to explore the evolution of HYPERHOUSE and the art of crafting a memorable mix.
The following week, on November 12th, Tash Sultana will take centre stage for an intimate live performance and conversation with Lunoe. From their beginnings busking on Melbourne streets to commanding stages across the globe, the multi-instrumentalist has built an international following through their distinctive level of soulful vocals, intricate instrumentation and live looping.
The session will offer fans a closer look at Sultana’s creative process, the influences behind their sound and what lies ahead.
On November 19th, the spotlight shifts from the stage to the studio as award-winning producer Styalz Fuego breaks down the creative process behind some of his biggest productions.
With credits spanning pop, hip hop, electronic music and K-pop, Fuego has established himself as one of Australia’s most sought-after producers. In conversation with Lunoe, he’ll share the stories behind his collaborations and explore what goes into building a hit record.
