In a time when concert stages around the country lay empty, a blast from the past has arrived, with Queensland’s Sandstone Point Hotel announcing the lineup for their To The Point festival.

Announced this morning, the November event features the likes of Amy Shark, The Cat Empire, and John Butler in the headline spots, with The Beautiful Girls and Stella Donnelly rounding out the first run of acts.

In a statement announcing the festival’s lineup, organisers explained “there has never been a more crucial time” for music fans to support the country’s live music sector.

“After months couped [sic] up inside, event organisers at To The Point are excited to give people something to look forward to!”

Taking place at Queensland’s Sandstone Point Hotel on Saturday, November 7th, the event’s announcement coincides with a number of new festivals and shows being planned.

Recently, The Drive-In announced a series of drive-in concerts taking place in Melbourne next month, while socially-distanced gigs were also revealed by Brisbane venues such as The Zoo and The Triffid.

Though the festival has not made any mention of social-distancing regulations at this point, it’s likely that more details will be announced in the lead-up to the event. Tickets to the festival go on sale from 9am on Tuesday, June 30th, with pre-sale tickets available from 9am on Friday, June 26th.
