Amy Shark has announced the addition of 14 shows to her already expansive regional Australia tour due to overwhelming demand.
The singer-songwriter announced the tour last month, bringing her acclaimed Cry Forever and Love Monster albums to fans in every corner of the country. A further 14 shows have now been added to the See U Somewhere Australia Tour between May and August this year.
Shark will now stop in Bunbury, Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, Newcastle, Albury, Upwey, Geelong, Caloundra, Stanthorpe, Ipswich, Toowoomba, and Maryborough, brining the already historic tour to a huge 60 dates. In addition, Karratha’s show at Red Earth Arts Precinct has been moved outdoors to meet extraordinary demand.
“You guys have blown me away by your response to my shows, and to all my incredible fans who’ve asked me to add your town to my tour – these new shows are for you, we now play 60 shows over 4 months and I can’t wait to see you there!” Shark says about the extended tour.
Tickets to the new shows will go on sale on Friday, April 22nd (10am local time) at http://www.amyshark.com. Remaining tickets for all other shows are on sale now but with more than half of the tour’s existing dates already selling out within days, they’re expected to sell fast.
The singer-songwriter’s second studio album, Cry Forever, was released last year to critical and commercial success. It topped the ARIA Albums Chart, and was nominated for Album of the Year, Best Artist, and Best Pop Release at the 2021 ARIA Music Awards.
