The performers and presenters for the 2023 ARIA Awards have been revealed.
This year’s ARIA Awards will be held in Sydney on November 15th. More information can be found here. Back in September, the full list of nominees was confirmed, lead by Genesis Owusu with an impressive seven nods. Also nominated this year are Rolling Stone AU/NZ cover star Troye Sivan, G Flip, Dom Dolla, and more (view the full nominees lineup here).
And now the lineup of performers and presenters set to take the stage at the Hordern Pavilion has been revealed, including several prominent nominees.
G Flip, Budjerah, DMA’S, Brad Cox, Peach PRC, Jessica Mauboy, Meg Mac, and Fanny Lumsden will perform their hit songs from the past year at the ceremony.
The 2023 ARIA Awards will also honour 50 years of hip hop in Australia, bringing together some of the most influential artists from the country’s hip hop community for a special performance, including Bliss n Eso, Barkaa, DJ Krissy, and 1200 Techniques.
Closing out this month’s ceremony will be 2023 ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Jet, who’ll perform a medley of their iconic songs in the year they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal album, Get Born.
On the presenting front, Rolling Stone AU/NZ Editor-in-Chief Poppy Reid, Troye Sivan, Baker Boy, Dylan Alcott, Cub Sport, Jack River, Thelma Plum, the one and only Dolly Parton, and many more will present awards throughout the night.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome such an awesome group of artists and presenters to the ARIA Awards stage in 2023, to celebrate the best of Australian music over the past 12 months and put the spotlight firmly on the stars of our local industry,” says ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd.
“We’re particularly excited to celebrate 50 years of hip hop in what is shaping up to be a spectacular performance paying tribute to our local artists and pivotal moments in this massive global genre. With less than two weeks to go, we couldn’t be more excited!”
