Meet the New International Superstar Coaches of ‘The Voice’

With 'The Voice' returning to Channel 7 and 7plus this month, everyone’s talking about the powerhouse lineup of coaches set to hit the show

This season will see The Voice elevate its platform for discovering and nurturing extraordinary talent, offering artists the unique opportunity to be mentored by some of the biggest and best in the global music scene.

Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter LeAnn Rimes; GRAMMY-nominated superstar Adam Lambert; and award-winning Australian musician Kate Miller-Heidke join returning The Voice favourite, multi-platinum-selling artist Guy Sebastian, as they vie to discover and mentor Australia’s next singing sensation.

Hand–picked for their diverse perspectives, each coach is sure to bring their unique style and expertise to what promises to be a season of unrivalled performances.

LeAnn Rimes: Country Music Royalty

Bursting onto the scene at just 13, LeAnn Rimes has been a fixture in the American music industry for almost three decades.

Best known for

As the youngest solo artist ever to win a Grammy, Rimes is best known for her powerful vocals and epic live performances, as well as her contribution to USA’s country music scene. “How Do I Live” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” remain some of her most beloved tracks, even decades on.

Her mentoring style

Rimes is empathetic and sensitive. She tailors her coaching to each artist and gets to know them – what makes them tick and what their fears are. She helps the artists work through their fears and self-doubts so that the greatest parts of them can really shine through.

Adam Lambert: A Global Rock Icon

As the first openly gay male artist to top the Billboard album charts, Lambert is a Grammy-nominated international artist, actor, philanthropist, and activist.

Lambert rose to fame as a finalist on American Idol in 2009. Since then, he’s continued to captivate fans with his dynamic stage presence and extraordinary vocal range. As the frontman for Queen + Adam Lambert, he has showcased his versatility and charisma on some of the world’s biggest stages.

His mentoring style

Lambert creates a sense of comfort for his artists by making them feel safe and secure to explore what they want to do with their songs. He shares honest feedback but does so in the kindest and most helpful way possible, while still being direct.
