Kevin Morby, one of the finest singer-songwriters of his generation, is coming to Australia and New Zealand.
Morby will perform in Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, Eltham, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in September and October (see full dates below). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 11th at 10am local time. The pre-sale begins on Wednesday, May 10th at 10am local time.
While Down Under, Morby will also appear at Wanderer Festival, which heads to NSW’s Pambula Beach from September 29th until October 1st. The Jungle Giants, Ocean Alley, Spiderbait and more also feature on this year’s lineup.
Formerly of Woods, Morby has released seven acclaimed solo albums in just 10 years, including last year’s This Is a Photograph, one of 2022’s best albums. Morby recently announced a companion piece for that album, More Photographs (A Continuum):  “If This Is a Photograph is a house that you have been living inside of,” he explained, “then More Photographs is, perhaps, the same home just experienced differently. As if you, its inhabitant, have taken a tab of something psychedelic and now, suddenly, you’ve replaced your eyeglasses with kaleidoscopes.”
Morby’s upcoming companion album contains nine tracks – three re-imaginings and six new songs – and is set to be officially released on Friday, May 26th.
