Hosted on Rolling Stone AU/NZ for the third time, INTROS is back to introduce you to the best rising stars in New Zealand music.
Georgia Lines’ popular music web series, brought to you by Spark and Spotify, in partnership with Rolling Stone AU/NZ, and supported by the NZ Music Commission and APRA, sees the Kiwi pop star sitting down with her favourite female and non-binary artists for a relaxed kōrero.
Each episode focuses on the artist’s chosen song, delving into the story behind the song and the process of writing, before the artist treats viewers to a live performance.
Next up in season five is Geneva AM, who needs no introduction to our readers.
The Auckland-based musician made it onto not one but two major Rolling Stone AU/NZ lists last year: her debut album, Pikipiki, made it all the way to the top 3 in our Best New Zealand Albums of 2025 countdown, and album standout “Urban Planning” featured in our Best Australian & New Zealand Songs of the 21st Century So Far list.
Geneva was nominated for the 2026 Taite Music Prize thanks to her album, with the winner set to be announced later this month.

In episode five of the new season of INTROS, which you can watch above, Lines and Geneva explore life and music in a thoughtful conversation. The latter also performs a stunning song for the host and viewers.
Lines released her debut album, The Rose of Jericho, to wide acclaim in 2024. Rolling Stone AU/NZ gave it a four-star review, and The Rose of Jericho featured prominently in our 50 Best New Zealand Albums of 2024 list.
The Rose of Jericho earned the singer-songwriter four nominations at last year’s Aotearoa Music Awards, including for Album of the Year and Single of the Year (“The Letter”).
