Hosted on Rolling Stone AU/NZ for the third time, INTROS is back to introduce you to the best rising stars in New Zealand music.
Georgia Lines’ popular music web series, brought to you by Spark and Spotify, in partnership with Rolling Stone AU/NZ, and supported by the NZ Music Commission and APRA, sees the Kiwi pop star sitting down with her favourite female and non-binary artists for a relaxed kōrero.
Each episode focuses on the artist’s chosen song, delving into the story behind the song and the process of writing, before the artist treats viewers to a live performance.
Kicking off season five is Jaedyn Randell, a rising star in Aotearoa R&B and soul.
In episode one of the new season of INTROS, which you can watch above, Lines and Randell explore life and music in a thoughtful conversation. The latter also performs a stunning song for the host and her viewers.
“I am BEYOND excited to introduce you to the wonderful Jaedyn Randell as the very first INTROS episode for 2026,” Lines says.

“The kindest soul with a voice that carries so much depth and power …. and yet somehow makes it all look easy.”
They discuss Randell’s time on The Voice Australia, her relationship with her Kōro and her desire to make him proud, what she’d love to see change in the music industry, what it was like voicing Moana in the te reo Māori version of the Disney film, and more.
“It’s a pretty special episode. We’re so grateful for this kōrero and really think you’ll find it inspiring (and helpful) for your own artist journey,” Lines adds.
Lines released her debut album, The Rose of Jericho, to wide acclaim in 2024. Rolling Stone AU/NZ gave it a four-star review, and The Rose of Jericho featured prominently in our 50 Best New Zealand Albums of 2024 list.
The Rose of Jericho earned the singer-songwriter four nominations at last year’s Aotearoa Music Awards, including for Album of the Year and Single of the Year (“The Letter”).
