These Australian Festivals Are the Total Package of Music, Nature and Good Times

Together with Bonds Total Package Undies™, we’ve pulled together the ultimate list of Aussie music festivals that have it all. Best of all, you could WIN tickets to one near you.

If there’s one thing to love about Aussies, it’s that we’re always down for a festival. Whether it’s a banging lineup on the coast or an artsy experience in the bush, our diverse landscapes and vibrant culture always deliver on epic music events.

But let’s be real for a second. Any festival regular will admit that swapping your bed for a swag and hopping in the car to hitch a ride across the state – or sometimes country – isn’t the most comfy experience. Until now.

With Bonds’ Total Package™ Undies, you’ll enjoy comfy viscose bamboo fabric and a built-in Total Support Pouch for your bits while you hit the sweaty dance floor or set up camp off the beaten path.

With your best fit and Bonds undies packed and ready, here are the most exciting destination festivals happening around Australia that offer the total package.

Dark Mofo Festival: Tasmania

Sure, there are plenty of reasons to travel down south to Tasmania. Highest on the list? Dark Mofo. The crown jewel of Hobart’s winter season, Dark Mofo celebrates a diverse range of music, art, and food. The festival is filled with unique experiences like the Nude Solstice Swim, where thousands ditch their jocks to brave frigid Tasmanian waters completely naked. The festival also features a weird and wonderful line up of live music, public art and performances.

Wide Open Space: Northern Territory

You can’t get more isolated than this. Held annually in the heart of the Aussie outback, NT-based boutique festival Wide Open Space is an annual 3-day celebration of modern and traditional music, arts and culture. Taking place in late April against a breathtaking desert backdrop, you’ll find a selection of local and international artists across multiple stages, as well as workshops, talks, and a range of unique experiences. Get your camping gear ready.

Splendour in the Grass Festival: New South Wales

We highly doubt it, but if you needed another excuse to make your way to beautiful Byron Bay, Splendour in the Grass is it. Taking place in the North Byron Parklands, this multi-day festival is the total package of bush camping, mosh pits, memorable moments and iconic live music. This year’s headline act? None other than Lizzo. It’s about damn time you checked this one out.

BASSINTHEGRASS: Northern Territory

Back for its 20th year, BASSINTHEGRASS is everyone’s favourite beachside festival. With its oceanside venue at Mindil Beach and a ridiculously good lineup of music (hello: Amy Shark, Angus & Julia Stone and Guy Sebastian), food, sunsets and entertainment on traditional Larrakia country in the Northern Territory, it’s definitely worth hopping on a plane to Darwin for.

Kuruna Roots Festival: Far North QLD

Set amongst the rainforests of Far North Queensland at the base of Emerald Creek Falls – yes, a literal waterfall – Kuranda Roots Festival is Australia’s most iconic reggae, roots and culture event that celebrates the traditional land, local music, culture and art on July 14-16. It’s a bit of a hike to get there, but that’s the fun of it. Once you find the spot and set up camp, you’ll never forget the experience.

Great music? Provoking art? Time in nature? These festivals are the total package. Luckily for you Bonds is giving one lucky winner and a friend the chance to win tickets to 5 x epic music festivals or gigs in their state and a $500 Bonds gift voucher.

All that’s left to do is to get yourself festival ready and set to make new memories with Bonds’ Total Package™ Undies. Head here to enter for your chance to WIN the Total Package music experience.
